To be a Hispanic quarterback at Fresno State makes him reflect on his greater purpose and what he represents. “I’m doing it for the kids,” he says. “I want to give them the light to say, ‘Hey, I’m one of you guys. And I’m going to do everything I can to work on your behalf … We’re in this together.’”
